We had a very sumptuous brunch today at The Sarapan at South Perth, and it didn’t disappoint our first visit. Ambiance was so cozy and the staff were really nice as well. We didn’t wait too much time for our foods to arrive at our table so that’s a plus points for them?? Value for money were spot on! Generous portions and flavour wise you can really taste the authenticity of the Malaysian cuisine at their menu
Came here on a Saturday morning at 10 am. Did not have to wait to be seated. But surprisingly there were a lot of people already inside. The food might take a while, but it is worth the wait. The food is full of flavour, very authentic and lots of spices. Roti canai banjir, nasi kerabu, kaya toast, and egg all taste amazing. Will definitely return to the big sarapan breakfast and big american breakfast set. The cham kopi and kuih all taste amazing. Very generous portion. But a lot of people book in advance for the seat.
Place serves halal food. Drove here at on 5th Dec 2024, reached around 8.30am for breakfast. Just a short 15 mins drive from the hotel we stayed at. We were lucky to get a parking space. Lovely decor and ambience. Ordered big Sarapan - the chicken is deliciously cooked. The prata is crispy. Ordered big brekky too. Paid for takeaway bag. Oh, we ordered thru scanning QR code and made payment online. They accept cash too. No need to wait to be seated but food takes a bit of time which is alright as we were able to enjoy the ambience. Thank you for providing a lovely place for halal food.
Feb 2025 Came here for lunch. Ordered The Big Sarapan and The Big Belly plus a Cheese Canai and a Teh Tarik for sharing between 3 adults and 2 kids. It was kind of enough. Definitely try The Big Sarapan as it's something different and it has a little bit of everything to try (Nasi Lemak, Roti Canai Plain, Chicken Drumsticks, Sunny Side Up, and a choice of Kueh/Curry Puff) and is good for sharing. Overall the taste and portions are good but reason why didn't give 5 stars is I feel the prices are a bit steep. But given the location and ambience, probably the reason why.
Great Kueh and Nasi Lemak. The sesame ball is fantastic and the seri muka is as good as it gets. The fried chicken could be better but the total combination with the rice and sambal is excellent. Roti Planta could be crispier but is still tasty but the highlight was the Nasi Goreng Kampung. Get it spicy!
