We always choose the Chefs Menu and they’re always super accommodating with any dietary requirements. Lovely staff, great vibe and delicious food, as always.

We had a private dinner in the private room for 16 people. The restaurant was so catering to the dietary requirements and make the whole process so easy. The food was spectacular and the atmosphere was amazing. The staff were lovely too. We had an amazing night. Thank you so much Monday room for making it a night to remember.

After four weeks of traveling around New Zealand, this restaurant has become our absolute favorite! The food was simply outstanding—every dish was bursting with flavor and perfectly executed. Beyond the incredible food, the service was exceptional. The two lovely waitresses were so kind and attentive, especially in helping me navigate the menu due to my pregnancy. They took the time to explain what I could and couldn’t eat and even suggested modifications so I could enjoy as much as possible. Their thoughtfulness made the experience even more special. The drinks were equally impressive. I had the best mocktail I’ve ever tasted, while my husband thoroughly enjoyed his wines, which were expertly recommended by the waitresses. On top of everything, the ambiance was beautiful, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere that made our meal even more enjoyable. We can’t recommend this place enough—an absolute must-visit in New Zealand!

Without a doubt one of the best meals I’ve had in a long time. We only had one night in Christchurch and I’m glad we decided to dine here. The food was EXCELLENT, meat cooked to perfection and probably the best crispy pork I’ve tasted in my life. An absolute must try!

From the moment we walked into The Monday Room, we were transported — the ambience was warm, intimate, and effortlessly refined, with the kind of cozy charm that made us feel as though we were dining in a tucked-away European gem. The food was absolutely faultless — every dish was executed with precision, beautifully presented, and full of flavour. Each course flowed seamlessly into the next, showcasing thoughtful ingredients and expert technique. The service was exceptional. Staff were attentive without being intrusive, knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate about what they were serving. It elevated the entire experience and made us feel incredibly well looked after. A true standout in the dining scene — The Monday Room delivers on every front. We'll be back.
