2 Chome-2-10 Tokuicho, Chuo Ward, Osaka, 540-0025, Japan
Decent Indonesian restaurant in Osaka. They provide many menus, including main dishes and snacks. Even though it is a bit expensive, the portion is also large, as is the rice. For Nasi Padang, in our opinion, the side dish doesn’t need to be that much and all of them are fatty. It's best to balance the rice with cassava vegetables (“sayur singkong”) or something else. But overall recommended, the staff is helpful and the place is clean. Oh, their batagor and Sate Ayam are so good, please have a try!
First time to try Indonesian food recommended by my Indonesian friend. Food is very tasty, reasonable price, nice decorations, and friendly staffs. Definitely will come back again.
One of my most favorite restaurants in Osaka, and I only have a few. I got the nasi padang and sate ayam. All were delicious, but what stood out is the beef rendang included in the nasi padang, and the sate ayam. The price was reasonable given the volume and quality of the dish. The staff were also really friendly. The ambience, although a bit dark, was classy while not being intimidating. I will bring my friends here next time. Will come back for more!
Big portion compared with other Indonesian restaurant in another city. Soto ayam is better than the one in Indonesia according to my wife. Nasi padang is good but have been adjusted to Japanese's tongue since some of the items in nasi padang tasted sweeter. Bravo to the homemade sambals, the red one is crazy spicy. I'm Indonesian and I can barely handle it. Mix it with soto ayam for an even better experience. Recommended!!!
As far as Indonesian food goes, this is not bad at all! I was sceptical when I first came here with my tour group, but all those doubts went away when we were served food —lots of it! The ambiance is really warm and could easily accommodate our group of around 20 pax PROVIDED you always you BOOK IN ADVANCE. The price is reasonable and food was still warm when served. Halal and cleanly prepared by the staffs (who speaks Indonesian, how convenient for our tour group!) The building, although easy to find, located next to the main road.
