Small charming restaurant that over delivers on taste and service.  We came up looking to eat a yummy mutton curry and tried out their Taj special.  It was phenomenal.  Sweet onions and spices coated in a creamy gravy delight.  Looking forward to return to try more of the menu.

Food was ok. Onion bhaji was ok but not good and pastry on the lamb samosas was thick and not 100% cooked. We had the grilled meat plate and chicken tikka masala and both were very nice and the garlic nan was good. All in the only issue was service and lack of response when we asked for a bag at the end for out takeaway container.

This afternoon, we decided to try out the Taj Mahal Club Indian restaurant. However, we were extremely disappointed with our dining experience. The restaurant was empty, and the waiter seemed uninterested in providing good service as she was constantly on her phone.

Despite ordering Tandoori Chicken Tikka, Dal Makhani, Navratan Korma, Basmati Rice, Garlic Naan, and Butter Naan, the quality of the food was below par. The Chicken Tikka was acceptable, but the Dal Makhani was ruined by the rotten cooking cream. The Navratan Korma was lacking in flavor and seemed to be only tomato gravy.

Furthermore, the Garlic Naan and Butter Naan were not authentic as they were just pita breads and not tandoor-baked naans. Overall, the experience was disappointing, and we will not be returning to this restaurant again.

The restaurant is somewhat hidden away on the third floor and has a strange charm with mismatched decor and delicious smells.

Food here was delicious, especially their chicken curry.

However, the three star rating comes from several rat and mouse sightings in the restaurant (crawling near walls and into ceiling). Hope that this issue can be corrected -- if it is, place deserves 5 stars.
