Sultan offers a good selection of Halal dishes in the Harbour Town Brisbane area. The food itself was enjoyable, though I found the prices to be a bit on the higher side for the level of service provided. The atmosphere was pleasant, but the service could be more attentive. With some improvements in service, Sultan could easily earn a 5-star rating.

Sujuk and Cheese Pide ($18.95): The crusts weren’t to the crunchiest extent but the cheese and sujuk (Turkish sausage) complemented each other so well. On top of that, it was generous of the chef that you get sufficient portion at only this kind of price. Baklava (2 pcs $4.95): I was supposed to order the Rice Pudding but fortunately at that time, the only available dessert was this one. However, this dessert was so delightful and its extraordinary texture was the best part, which was hard to explain. I actually started to prefer this one to rice pudding because of its extreme sweetness and special texture. In addition, most of the drinks including (Coke, Sprite, and Fanta) cost $4.95 per and Fuze Tea costs $5.95 per bottle. In conclusion, this was my first time visiting Harbour Town and I coincidentally found here selling Turkish foods and subsequently had a great meal here. It’s located next to the main entrance of Reading Cinema. Pay before eating and the cashier was very friendly and energetic to customers. Overall, it’s a 9.5 out of 10!

Nicest lamb shish and cleanest & most flavoursome Middle Eastern food I have eaten in a long time. It was worth travelling 1hr, 45 minutes to eat here. Food was very fresh, clean & healthy.. presentation flawless! Service - can be improved… we were very tired & the young girls at the counter expected customers to carry bottles of table water and cutlery stand to our table, while they stood behind the counter chatting.. this is their job… I had a car accident not long ago & damaged myself including my wrist & now it is very painful… after carrying that full bottle of water. Please train your staff to help customers. Atmosphere, pretty average, please clean tables better in outside area.. otherwise it was not too bad compared to other places.
