One of the best Indian places in Japan, and this is coming from a critical Indian who missed some vegetarian Indian food in Japan. The owner is really friendly, and has spent a significant time in India (Maharashtra). One of my favourite qualities of Japanese people is the diligence apply to their craft. I have huge respect for the owner who brought his own perspective to Indian food that honours both Indian Ayurvedic heritage with Japanese discipline. Highly recommend, and I’ll be going there again!

Amazing food, amazing hospitality. Authentic Indian taste. Best I've tasted on my 15 days japan visit. Taste is better than some of top Indian restaurants in India also. Very very impressed with that food and calm atmosphere and smell of spices which increases your appetite ❤️❤️❤️

Listen…atmosphere, service, and most notably the food, wasn’t all the rage people are saying. It wasn’t fresh. How do I know ? 1. Both dishes came out within minutes (we ordered a thal and curry, 4 individual dishes). How did my chai come out towards the end of my meal? I don’t know if there was a misunderstanding but I even asked the owner if everything was made in the morning and reheated, he confirmed? 2. Food got cold very fast, indicating it was reheated 3. They added spice as requested Small disclaimer, No option for chapati/ naan if yall are looking. Service from the owner was short and a bit off putting. Clean restaurant and nice setup.

Food was Excellent.. It is a must visit restaurant if you want to eat good rice curry rasam pappadam! The owner is actually Japanese who worked in Maharashtra as an IT engineer and has taken this pain to open Indian restaurant in Japan! If you are visiting Sensoji Temple Do not miss to visit Spicemama restaurant!

What can I say about this place !!! Everything seemed just perfect. Simple home cooked Indian meal. Just like how we cook back home. The owner is a wonderful person and served us with a lot of love and patience. Definitely the best Indian food me and my family had on our trip to Tokyo. The owner's warmth and hospitality will be forever rememberd by us.
