The name "Souka" draws inspiration from the Arabic word "souk," meaning a traditional marketplace or bazaar. This name embodies the essence of community and the warmth of shared culinary experiences. It reflects the bakery's core philosophy of uniting people through artisanal, delectable creations in a welcoming, intimate setting.
I like everything about this cafe. I recently bought their ice chocolate peppermint and it was shockingly good. I love their eclairs too and i repeated that dessert especially the chocolate one. Their chicken mushroom pie and lemon cheese cake was good too!
Located at SS, a nice cafe to enjoy your coffee with pastries. My compliment would be to their cranberry scone. So sedap! Besides pastries, they also served pasta, side dish like mushroom soup. Price wise, it's standard price (at least for me) Parking for weekend, reasonably easy to find. Not sure if weekdays.
I used to frequent them when I stayed in Subang Jaya. Now as I am only here during weekends, I miss them so. Their red velvet is a must try. Flourless orange cake too. And their donuts. Oh and chocolate babka, sticky pecan rolls and tiramisu rolls. Gosh, I wish I can eat or tapao them all. I never really tried their hot food. One day, hopefully. And they have renovated their space. So pretty and classy! Love!
We bought the cakes at their new branch at The Campus Ampang Jaya. we had burnt cheese cake and lemon poppyseed cake. Cake taste so good and yummy. Definitely will be back again.
