Nice place for chinese cuisine. Noodles and dumplings are wonderful. Too bad, red bean dessert soup is not available anymore ?.

One of the longest lasting restaurants in Empire Subang is Din Tai Fung. Having eaten at this outlet for over a decade, it's always maintained its quality and taste, and is a favourite with my family whenever we are in that mall. The menu hasn't changed too much through the years, and neither has the decor. This can be good or bad, depending on how you look at it. For me, it's a sense of familiarity and comfort when you step in, and that's good. However, not everything has remained the same. The portions are now noticeably smaller, while prices have gone up as well. So, while it's still affordable, it's not quite cheap as before, and that may have a negative impact on regulars like me. You can't go wrong with any of their noodles, and if you're up to it, go for the spicy options. The xiao long bao is just as good as when I tasted it the first time, and my favourite sour & spicy soup remains a staple for me when I am there. All in all, a great family restaurant with good food in a comfortable environment.

Taste like Din Tai Fung..some bun and xiao long bao getting smaller in size. And the entrance deco colour change to green (not sure how i feels..now looks less Taiwan Restaurant, and more Nyonya Restaurant vibe??? Not sure they experimenting in something of Rebranding or truely missed the point of targeting audience in order to attract costumers) Staffs is friendly, clean airconed environment, food served fast. Food as good as expected, but I think best not missed out some spicy item for better dining experience. Do aware that the last called is 9pm (or 8.50pm i forgot) for all the orders.
