Went during weekday. Nobody except us and another family. There is a 10% discount for SAFRA. The staff were very friendly and absolutely helpful. I paid $80 for 1hr (+bumper car) for 2 adults and 1 child. It was absolutely worth it because for them to bring down a 36degrees climate to sub-zero temperature is an immense feat on its own. I don't think the entry price I paid was enough to pay for the electricity bill. It is not a big place but we got the thrill which we sought - some snow fun, and sub-zero temperature. The bumper car was my daughter's favourite. The downside is the phototaking policy. No phototaking and videotaking. I thought it was for safety but realised it was very safe within the premise. The photographers took about 50 photos while we were inside. there were two options: •$88 for all the digital copies, or, •$100 for all the digital copies + snow globe and 2 printed photos. While it seems more valuable for the latter, if not for the milestone of my daughter's 3yo birthday, I wouldn't have bought it. It is simply overpriced drawing a comparison to those at USS or GardenByTheBay....
It was awesome! My son and I enjoy so much! The 2 hrs session was just nice for us. Love the amazing ice slide and we call it ice roller-coaster! The staffs for the slides were friendly and nice. As for the renter service counter staffs, some of them look really annoyed when we adk to change for the shoe n pants size as they were too big. N we didn't know where to see our photo tat were captured by the photographer from the snow city. Anyway we have fun.
We visited Snow City Singapore during the year-end school holidays last year when our kids were 7, 9 and 11. It was our first time there, and it turned out to be a really memorable family experience. For children growing up in Singapore’s tropical climate, playing in real snow was such a novelty. They had a great time sliding, throwing snow at one another, and simply enjoying the cold environment together. Lots of laughter, lots of photo moments, and a refreshing change from our usual outings. Phones are not allowed so we have rely on staff photographers. The photography service was helpful in capturing family shots so we could focus on enjoying the moment. The keepsake photos were quite expensive, but we decided to pay for them as special memories from the experience. Bumper car ride not really worth the money as it is quite slow and the place quite small to move about. Overall, it’s a place worth visiting at least once — especially for kids who have never experienced snow. Not somewhere we would go repeatedly, but we’re glad we went and created those family memories together.
