The shop is a 5 mins walk from Chinese Garden MRT station. It is located at the T-junction facing the park together with the rows of shophouses and coffee shop. I was there on a weekday before 10am. Staff member was preparing, getting ready to open the shop. By 10.05am, the shop had more than 5 customers trying the bikes. Staff member was patient. I told him that I wanted a hybrid bike to cycle to West Coast. He got me one. It may look tired but worked fine. Paid $50 deposit + $10 rental cost for a 2 hours rental (paid for 1hr and get 2nd hour free). They accept cash only. He gave me clear instructions on how to get to West Coast. He also went through all the terms in the receipt. I was given the number at West Coast in case I needed help. Photo ID, eg NRIC or driving license is needed if you do not want to pay for the deposit and if you were to return the bike at the same location. It took me about 1hr 15 mins to get to West Coast Park. The journey wasn’t great as there were many heavy vehicles along the way. When you get to West Coast Road, keep to the side of the pavement of Commonwealth Secondary School instead of Pandan Reservoir until you get to West Coast Park. This is to avoid having to dash across 2 stretches of road which do not have traffic lights.

31/5/2022 tuesday night 7pm We rented 9 bicycles for night cycling ??! Uncle is very friendly and helpful ☺️. Some of us are beginners and he explained the basics for us! Before we rent, he ask us to check the front and back lights, brakes, etc. We chose the mountain bikes cause is way easier to manoeuvre compared to the city bikes (but they have baskets). Night cycling is damn worth, $22 from 7.30pm to 10am the next morning, can return anytime in that period back to the outlet.

Thank you, Uncle Chee “Qi”, for your superb service. Was the first time my girl, who had just gained confidence getting off her training cycling wheels, visited a bike rental shop. Uncle Chee patiently guided us through the process of getting a bike, adjusting the bike’s seat and handles. He was jovial too, making an attempt to ease her apparent fear at trying out a larger bicycle, by cracking jokes “girl, you are growing taller as uncle adjust the seat”! He was friendly, patient and attentive from start to end. The bikes ran smoothly for the duration of our rental. No issues at all. My girl was beaming even after we had returned our bikes and left the shop, waving goodbye to the uncle who had made our entire experience of bike renting a really pleasant one. Children’s reactions are truly the best gauge. Thumbs up to Uncle Chee for excellent service, much appreciated! ???Highly recommend GoCycling here!

Came to change my inner tube. It was a pleasant experience throughout. Uncle Chee/Qi was friendly, helpful and nice to chat with. Really enjoyed the music he played. Old birds will know what I mean. I hope he stays at this shop for a long long time because I will be back for more bicycle services and repairs. Will definitely recommend him and this shop to everyone who stays in the west side.

Staff manning the shop today (26/12/2024) was very patient and helpful and listened to all of our concerns before recommending suitable bikes for us. One of our bicycles malfunctioned during the ride (completely our fault) and not only was he calm and reassuring, he offered to exchange the bicycle for a working one so that we could continue our ride! Such great service is hard to come by nowadays.
