these are good Taiwanese traditional vegetarian food , I specifically like the Taiwan sweet pie

This tiny vegetarian restaurant may not be eye-catching at first, but the food here is amazing. Loved their small sweet black sesame pastry, crispy crust with flaky layers and filled with aromatic black sesame paste, absolute delicious.

There are a few restaurants like this in Taipei, but I think this is the best. Their most famous specialties are radish and sesame pastries. Radish is my favourite, but savory black sesame is also really good. I also recommend their buns (mustard greens and green beans). All dishes are *vegan* and *allium free* (some people mistake mustard greens for chives, but this restaurant would never sneak allium in your food). Highly recommended.

2024 Update: always good food and friendly service. One of my favorite places to eat in Taipei. ?? 2023: Great food & responsibly priced. The sweet bean pastries are a must try. Very friendly service as well ???
