Raohe St, Songshan District, Taipei City, Taiwan 105
Raohe Night Market is a great place to explore, especially if you love street food and a lively atmosphere. The variety of food is impressive, from the famous black pepper buns to grilled seafood and bubble tea. Most of the food I tried was tasty, and the prices were reasonable for a night market. However, I noticed that souvenirs were quite expensive compared to other markets. While there are some unique items, it’s better to compare prices before buying. If you’re mainly visiting for food, it’s definitely worth the trip! Just be prepared for crowds and long lines at popular stalls. Trying stinky tofu at Raohe Night Market was an unforgettable experience! As soon as I got close to the stall, I could smell its strong, fermented aroma—definitely not for the faint of heart. But despite the smell, the taste was surprisingly good! The outside was perfectly crispy, while the inside was soft and flavorful. The pickled cabbage and spicy sauce added a nice balance, making the dish even more enjoyable. Would I visit again? For the food, absolutely. For shopping, maybe not.
Raohe Street Night Market stands out as the best night market in Taipei for me. Its cleanliness and neat layout create a pleasant atmosphere, making it a comfortable place to explore. I especially appreciate the wide variety of local street food available, offering an authentic taste of Taiwanese cuisine. Another highlight is the market's design with two walking lanes. This thoughtful arrangement helps manage the crowd flow effectively, ensuring the market never feels overwhelmingly crowded even during busy hours. All in all, Raohe Street Night Market provides a delightful and organized night market experience that's hard to beat!
The food at the night market was super diverse — definitely one of the best night markets for my personal taste! Most dishes came in single-serving portions, which was perfect because we wanted to try as many things as possible. We ended up buying one item from each stall and shared everything — such a fun way to experience the food. If you’re visiting Taipei, this night market is a must-try experience!
This place is sooooo coolll!! So many shopping and food options. I loved it. Just beside Songshan MRT station and very happening place as well. People are so friendly and and well behaved. Highly recommend.
Raohe Night market. It is setup with one lane going up and another lane going back . Lovely place . Lots of food to try. I ate too much . Could be overwhelming when if the crowd is too much. The nice tornado potato vendor lady decide to give us discount when we comeback for second serving. Love the experience. Was going to try stinky tofu but I must have miss it as I walk the whole circuit. Highly recommended place to visit at night
