My favorite café in WA! Today, I had the roasted mushrooms, Rooster roll, Blintzes, and a flat white (not sure, it wasn’t mine). Every dish was absolutely delightful. I was surprised by the huge portions, and the way all the ingredients in each dish harmonized was incredibly impressive. The coffee was smooth with a fine froth (as you can tell from the latte art) and paired perfectly with the meal. The staff were friendly, and it was a wonderful way to start the day. I’m definitely coming back?

God this Reuben sandwich is so delicious I’m actually typing this review mid-way. ? I’ve never enjoyed pickles in my life but this? This sandwich had me typing this sentence while chewing the pickle slice. Biting into this Reuben sandwich is pure heaven. Just LOOK at the amount of corned beef! So savoury not even salty at all! Pickles are so tangy and complement the soft cheese and sauerkraut GOSH! Forget biting it being served to you in all its perfection is something I would want to experience again and again! The atmosphere at Satchmo is immaculate I don’t think there’s any other place as homely yet so lively and bright! They put an insane amount of effort into their food as they do customer service and cleanliness. This place is CLEAN ✨ Stop reading this ✋ and head on down I promise you it’s life changing. Definitely coming back here no questions asked ?

The best Reuben Sandwich I've ever had in WA (even if was the only one I've ever had in WA..)! Giving Jewish Seinfeld vibes with a New Orleanian feel, the American diner interior was as fun as the sandwich was delicious! With a whopping 250gr of pastrami and a generous serving of sauerkraut on onion rye, the flavours in this was just the best!

Service: the service here is top notch. It was so easy to get a booking for the weekend. We had an issue with our uber being cancelled and were able to delay our booking at short notice but somehow still made it on time and the girls were so lovely and understanding. The food: oh em gee. We had the Rueben, corn bread, key lime pie and Philly cheese steak. I had a ginger beer float to drink and I was not prepared. Each meal was packed with flavour. My friend and I shared and still took half home even though I hadn't eaten all day so being an empty tummy. Their portions are so good and each peice of food was so delicious. Cant wait to go back again Atmosphere: it really does scream soul food and American diner feeling. There was one flashing light which Is harmful as I have epilepsy but that is a me issue ? I really loved this place! Hello kitty and my melody were in a food baby situation after a short nap lol.

A pleasant cafe brunch spot! Cafe is on the corner with seating inside the store. It seemed very well rounded with food, coffee, & service! The only thing for me was that, our visit was motivated to feel and try kosher/Israeli food. Maybe because I'm not used to it I didn't really enjoy the matzo ball soup, and also felt the concept of the culture wasn't strong enough? This is just my opinion and regardless the other menus and the bagel I got with the matzo ball soup was perfect!
