Today, I had the pleasure of dining at Saigon Indian Restaurant in Ho Chi Minh, and I can confidently say it was an unforgettable experience! The food menu is simply outstanding, with a special emphasis on South Indian cuisine. Each dish was bursting with flavor and authenticity—whether it was the rich curries, aromatic dosas, or perfectly spiced biryanis, every bite transported me to the heart of India.

What truly made this visit special was the warm hospitality. To celebrate Women’s Day, the staff greeted us with a complimentary rose drink and a beautiful flower, adding a personal and thoughtful touch to the experience. It was these little details that made us feel incredibly welcomed and appreciated.

Not too sure why it's called Fine Dining when the atmosphere is like a normal restaurant.
Service is fast, attentive staff but too attentive at one point they keep staring at you, making you feel uncomfortable. Minus points for that.

They have two floors but it's always the GF opens up to customers. I wish there could be brighter, more lighting.

Food wise, the curry chicken is nice, has the deep curry aroma and tender juicy chicken thigh.

The price, however, is overpriced for small portion.

This place is very highly reviewed on Google Maps. Unfortunately, my experience was quite the opposite. I ordered Filter Coffee, which absolutely failed to live up to its expectations. It didn't look good, and it did not taste good either. It's a complete waste of money. I also had masala dosa, which was not really good. Quite frankly, while the atmosphere and the service were fine, the food and the drink simply fell well below average, so I would completely avoid this place. I would try a lot of other Indian restaurants. It's quite baffling that they have these high reviews. To me, the food and the drink were of unacceptable quality and taste, and I would rather go to many of the other Indian restaurants in this town.

Food quality was the best.
We ordered idly and masala dosa taste was so yummy just like India.
There was no rush then also they took longer than so usual it can be improved.
Overall it’s very hygienic place.

The food was absolutely delicious—rich in flavor and truly authentic. Easily the best spot for Indian cuisine near Ben Thanh Market. The staff were warm, welcoming, and made the dining experience even better. Highly recommended!
