Good Ethiopian food, however pricey The Royal platter ($35pp) gives a sample of all 8 dishes. Food was overall tasty, the meats were a little tough and dry. The injera had a subtle sour flavour and was soft and fresh. The chef came out to greet us and show us how to eat with our hands the authentic way. For the price paid I would expect unlimited refills of injera like all other Ethiopian restaurants I’ve been to. We had to order an extra serve of injera which costs extra Service was friendly and restaurant was clean with a vanity to wash your hands. Food was served about 20mins after ordering
Very nice place different from normal Australian fair. Can't tell how authentic it is but it definitely feels authentic. They funny provide forks or cutlery they provide breads use your hands :) Food was awesome come try it Service is a bit slow but gives you time to chat I'll definitely be back
My wife’s first time having Ethiopian and she loved it. We shared the Royal Platter which had a mix of meat and vegan dishes and finished with a traditional Ethiopian coffee. Food was good but slow service.
Great little restaurant on Liverpool Road. The food was delicious and the portion was very good. The beef dish we ordered had a lot of beef compared to other places that have more sauce and less meat. The injera was delicious with the right amount of sourness. My only disappointment was that we ordered an extra injera and it was a half rather than a full one. Apart from that service was good and I would definitely recommend this place.
My family and I had dinner yesterday and we were blown away by the whole experience! My children who are fussy eaters - one had never tried injera, want us to go back for more. We had the meat platters, each!☺️ And it was wow, just wow especially the beef for me. What a wonderful wholesome experience. Highly recommended.
