I would say overall the food was tasty and flavorful and I particularly liked lamb shank. Appetizer was good. Tomatoes had natural sweetness. Even we didn’t like arugula but we liked the dressing enough to finish it. Only dish was NOT up to the standards was the steak, somehow it’s overcooked. Yes, we knew we could send it back but we were tired just wanted to finish the meal and go back to the hotel. During the meal, we saw a lot of people ordering pizza and it did look very good from the distant. Also we could see the chef working on the pizza from our table. If we come back to Sydney, we would like to try the pizza. One thing was strange: host asked to scan our ID before letting us enter. So remember to have an ID handy.

We reserved the table through the official website. The restaurant serves the traditional Italian food, and was in a lively atmosphere, so that we could have the delicious food and relaxing and casual chat. Gourmet Pizza, crab ravioli and Panna Cotta are highly recommended, while Bomba pizza puff is not necessary if you would also order pizza as they tasted similar. May be the restaurant is served with bar, customers are required to show the driving license or other proof to show that you are aged over 18.

Nice ambiance, attentive staff, and the food wasn’t bad at all. Our appetizers hit the spot, and my seafood linguine was solid. Unfortunately, my partner’s ‘medium’ steak clearly didn’t get the memo - it came out more ‘well done and over it.’ Tables were packed a bit too close for comfort - just a few more inches apart and we wouldn’t have known what the couple next to us were ordering ? All in all, a decent experience with a few quirks!

The staff were very friendly and I received an amazing level of service. I ordered a large range of dishes such as the signature crab ravioli, seafood pizza, rocket salad and steak. The seafood pizza was the star of the night as it was packed with seafood and the dough was very fluffy and had an amazing woodfire taste. The ravioli was OK but definitely not of a 'signature' standard as it was a bit bland. The steak dish was quiet disappointing as the sides and sauces were quite nice but the steak was lacking flavour and was quite tough. I would definitely revisit this restaurant but I might just only order the pizza next time!

If I want to celebrate a special occasion, Primi Italian on Clarence Street is definitely on the list. Great food, Superb service and nice ambience, Primi got it all. Despite the large crowds, food was served very fast - the Fried Zucchini, Risotto Carbonara and Crab Ravioli were all awesome! Love their friendly staffs ?. Be warned - the chili is hot.
