This restaurant offers delicious Portuguese cuisine with some truly outstanding dishes. The steak with a fried egg was quite enjoyable; the butter sauce was rich and flavorful, adding a great taste to the dish. However, I did request the steak to be cooked medium, but it arrived slightly overcooked. It was still tasty, but a perfectly cooked medium steak would have been ideal. The suckling pig was particularly impressive. The skin was beautifully crispy, while the meat was incredibly tender and juicy. It’s definitely a dish I would recommend for anyone who appreciates well-prepared pork. As for the octopus salad starter, it was also a good choice. The octopus was fresh and well-seasoned, making it a satisfying appetizer before the main course. One thing worth noting is the portion sizes here. They are quite generous, so it’s perfect for those with a hearty appetite or for sharing among friends and family. Overall, this place is a great spot for Portuguese food, and I look forward to visiting again to try other items on the menu.

Chance upon this restaurant as we were strolling and decided to come back for dinner, so glad we did! The food was great! The complimentary bread was soooooo delicious, I am on low carb diet but so good I finished it all! All the dishes we ordered are great tasting! The service was wonderful with nice and comfortable vibe!

One of the most pleasant dining experice I had. Gambas were the best - subtle and flavorful. Bacalao was also a risk worth taking, and the serradura was perfect to cap off the lunch. This place is on the pricier side but quality, portion and service were all worth it. The staff were also so warm, polite and helpful, going above and beyond to make me feel welcome as a solo walk-in diner. As someone who lives in Japan where excellent customer service is the norm, this place is remarkable not only for its efficiency but its welcoming atmosphere. The staff answered all my questions about the food and were spot on with their recommendations. Thanks Cheryl and the rest of the staff for the wonderful service.

Let's start with food - delicious, generous portions... clams are my favourite. House wine is hood, prices are decent. Service - although it is professional, more flexibility would be appreciated. The devil is in details :) Atmosphere - whole set up is more like eatery than like a Michelin recommended place. Toilets are smelly and not well maintained. The reservation process is smooth. You would get an email confirming your reservation. Overall, I would recommend Portugalia. Come and enjoy the food, don't pay attention to the rest.
