Good fresh selection, bought the seafood and seller brought it to their partner/ pre designated restaurant to cook. After the crab, they cooked fried rice (with the crab fat) and filled the empty shell with it to serve. ? Would recommend a Korean speaking companion for ease of the transaction.
?Visited Noryangjin Fisheries Wholesale Market 노량진수산도매시장 to have lunch there. ?Noryangjin Fish Market 노량진수산시장 is the largest seafood market in Seoul. ?There is an amazing arrays of live sea creatures swimming in large tanks. ???We bought live king crabs, scallops, clams at the live seafood section; and had them cooked at the upstairs restaurant. ?The restaurant lady used the crab roe to dish up crab roe fried rice as our lunch finale. ???It was a delicious and memorable meal.
The wet market is clean with a lot of choices of fresh seafood. Make sure to survey before making your final purchase. This may also be a tourist trap so do your research before purchasing any expensive seafood.

Pick from any stall your choice seafood. Tell them you wanna eat here. They will bring to recommended restaurant on level 2 to prepare. Enjoy your soju with the freshest! Not tourist trap. Just barely USD 200 for a king crab that's well over 3Kg
visiting as a foreigner. plenty of stalls, you may get analysis paralysis if you think too hard ? i just went to the stall with my favourite number (13) - they had the sea cucumbers, conches, octopuses and other shelled food (level 1 stall 130) they asked if we wanted sashimi and directed us just opposite to order sashimi (level 1 stall 133). we tried to haggle a little at the first stall because we read that tourists tend to get “scammed” but yea the prices were not bad even before bargaining ? after ordering, we paid on the spot and were brought up to level 3 into one of the restaurants (number 2) where they advised on how to cook the food to serve us. the restaurant was filled with 60% koreans. all in all, a good experience at the fish market. dont be afraid to walk around and give a try at haggling if you feel the prices are too high! they may throw in a few free pieces like they did for us! we paid 35,000won at the first stall, and 80,000won at the second stall. see pics for the portions, we were so full as a couple! the sashimi were a bit too raw for us so we ended up ordering a ramyeon and cooking them in it? no regrets tho, super fresh fished when cooked. please note that the restaurants where you eat also charge a service fee for serving and cooking your food!
