This place does a great job of introducing diners to authentic Indian cuisine. The dishes are rich in flavor, with well-balanced spices and fresh ingredients. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, making it a comfortable place to enjoy a meal. Service is polite and attentive, ensuring a pleasant dining experience. Whether you’re familiar with Indian cuisine or trying it for the first time, this place is definitely worth a visit in Saigon!
This was recommended by an Indian friend. I think his opinion was correct as this is a good place. The workers are very courteous and work hard. They also provided a dish of fresh water to clean my hands afterward, which no other Indian restaurant in Vietnam has done so for me (I've only been to 4, I think?). The food seemed a little higher quality than the others I've tried. The portion size was a little bigger than the last place I tried in Thảo Điền. Tried the chili vegetable momo (dumplings), 140K/$5.45. *I thought I had ordered the fried vegetable one, but the receipt says chili vegetables & and I think I remember the waiter saying/giving chili sauce for the momo. These were really good and the portion was good for the price. Kind of a teriyaki sauce. Tried the chicken handi biryani (190K/$7.40). This was larger than I expected - which was good because I was hoping to take home half for a second meal (which I did). With the sauce, it was good. Without the sauce, it was slightly dry. Still tasted good. I ordered garlic naan (60K/$2.35) - this was good, but maybe the weakest compared to the other places? It did seem larger, though. One bottle of water was a reasonable restaurant price (18K$0.70). 8% VAT did raise the total bill a little more than I anticipated. Nice looking interior, good for gatherings.
Such a lovely spot! From the moment we walked in, we felt so welcome. The service was super friendly, and the food was absolutely delicious! My friend and I enjoyed every bite. We had mango lassi, dal makhani, and paneer, all of which were full of flavor and perfectly made. A wonderful experience from start to finish. Highly recommend!
Brilliant. Everything just Brilliant. The owner? Or whoever he was who greeted us was very friendly and helpful. Lovely interior with cool decor and comfortable seating. Now to the food.... We got everything veganised. The fried momos were absolutely amazing! The veggie samosas were the best I've eaten in Saigon. The chana masala was perfect! The aloo gobi was cooked to perfection. The lentil thingy was good. This is the best Indian restaurant in Saigon. Added bonus it's in a nice clean quiet hem.
Ordered the Mustard Tiranga Curry, as was disappointed that it was only paneer despite being listed as a chicken dish. Never fun to accidentally eat vegetarian, but man. That. Was. Good. Some of the best Indian I've had outside of India. I'll come again tomorrow, and if I don't bother editing this, assume it really is that good, and it wasn't a fluke. Seriously. Super tasty.
