If you're a vegan, take note that this is not a vegetarian restaurant! The name might be a little misleading but trust me, the food is not. Almost every single set on the menu is worth trying. We ordered the Green Curry and Edomayo set, and both were just bursting with flavours and colors. Mind you, its all natural and healthy food, with a good portion of protein like chicken and shrimps. Reasonable priced, great dining ambience and superbly delicious food is all that matters when you visit Musi-Vege!
It's NOT a real vegetarian restaurant, not as its name states. For my understanding, only the Tofu Plate set is vegetarian on the menu. The tofu steak is delicious with assorted steamed vegetables, side dishes, and a veggie miso soup. Plus favorite healthy whole grains rice. The restaurant is on the 1 floor of Namba city department store, not so easy to find it.
Kie would like to have some healthy meal, so we visited this 'vegi' restaurant after searching at google, well after looking at the menu which displayed many beautiful pictures of the mouth watering dishes, at great price, it is hard to resist and not to become its customers, in fact i'd like to try as much as possible its different dishes on the menu, including its cake set, it'd be misleading to think that it only offer vegetarian meals, its menu include shrimps, chicken … but all looked very healthy and balanced meal, the drink menu also include beer, coffee, tea and juice of different variety, and vanilla icecream, all in all, my big thanks to Kie for this great choice!
The Vegan Plate and chocolate cake was delicious. Do check this out ? Some dishes have eggs. So read carefully and order.
Apparently they only have one vegan set - which is clearly labelled on the menu, the rest aren't vegan or even vegetarian. Order via a QR code on the table. Service was quick too. There is a good mix of flavours in the small side dishes. A small selection of steamed veggies, and a plate of stronger flavour components. Multigrain rice (you can choose between a small or large bowl), and a savoury soy milk soup - which wasn't my cup of tea ? Literally the most balanced and healthiest meal I had in Osaka.
