Went with a group of 7 and the majority of people loved it. The waiters were nice and communicative. (Especially Mr.Abid) I had the chicken biryani and it was too spicy. However, everyone else thought the spice level was perfect, and it was nice to have a proper spicy dish, as they are rare in Japan. The atmosphere does give elementary school classroom vibes and is very bright inside. However, we had a great experience overall and the store well deserves a 5/5.
Very good! I ordered that menu is only one week, maybe some one think it will be a little expensive, but I I have to admit, it's taste pretty good. The restaurant owner is also very enthusiastic and will talk about some of the guests he knows from all over the world. The patterns on the wall are also hand-painted, which shows that the owner loves his shop very much. I highly recommend this week's special pilaf, the spices are balance of the each other and the meat is very fresh.
Edit: Visited here for the second time. Travelled all the way from Katsushika-ku to Waseda for Biriyani. Ordered Hyderabadi Chicken as well as Mutton Biriyani. Hyderabadi Mutton Biriyani had long grain basmati rice, dowsed heavily with brown onions with luscious mutton chunks. Chicken Biriyani was also equally delicious. The best thing was that the biryani was so light and flavorful doesn't leave you heavy at all. The portions were generous for the price. Accompaniments like Salad, Yogurt and a drink could be added in addition with biriyani for a smaller fee. And I chose hot chai which was subtle depth of spice flavors. They also served us a dessert, mango flavored sweet (not aware about the name). Mr. Amid Khan and his wife hosted us so well. Try Mughal restaurant for their toothsome mouth-watering biryanis. You’ll never be disappointed.
I was traveling from Toronto and craving some home-style halal food, and this place did not disappoint! The flavors were truly authentic, and the portions were generous—all at a very affordable price. Wishing this Mughal spot nothing but success!
I have gone to Mughal many times. I have tried a lot of the different curries and a special chicken dish. While the restaurant is often empty, hence the 3 stars for “Atmosphere”, the owner is extremely kind and takes interest in his customers for sure! The food is incredible, the homemade Mango Lassi is unbelievably good!
