i am not vegan because I always find that sometimes you can’t beat the real deal but this had me pretty shocked. It all tasted better than I would hope. i honestly felt like maybe i was being tricked into eating meat (the tasty dodgy maccas meat that is), seemed so legit. I think the only thing that let it down would be the buns, they were not “perfect” but still great. The nuggets were so good especially. The only thing I would suggest, the aesthetic is very “grammable” but if I could have the option of having less packaging (I.e. without box) I would definitely spend more money here more often.

I tried the ‘not a chicken burger’ and damn, I honestly had to check if it really was vegan, how on earth they’ve nailed that chicken taste, I have no idea. $16.90 for a burger is not too bad. It was a little too convincing. Can’t wait to try the other stuff on the menu now. Highly recommended. Ok I couldn’t resist, I came back the next day and got the double burger with ‘not chicken’ and ‘not cheeseburger’ so, so good. I am obsessed with this place now. They also gave me a free upgrade to free chips and drink, not sure if that is a Tuesday deal but it was very appreciated.

My partner and I have been waiting to try Mr. Charlie’s for ages, and it absolutely exceeded our expectations! The food was absolutely delicious , and the burgers tasted even better than I remember – definitely better than McDonald's! Even if you're not vegan, it's definitely worth giving it a try – the taste and quality speak for themselves. Plus, knowing that no animals were harmed in the making of this food makes it all the more satisfying. A few reviews have mentioned the cost of the food here, and while it’s obviously a bit more expensive than McDonald's, you’re definitely paying for quality. The location is perfect, and I’d love to see more of these spots around Australia. It feels like such a huge movement for us vegans, and I’m excited to see where it goes. The service was exceptional too! I also loved the layout of the restaurant – it’s got such a great vibe ❤️

Got the Big Mista combo meal - was absolutely delicious and cannot fault. Loads of amazing vegan options available now but Mr Charlie’s is the best of them.

Lived up to all expectations I had set! Yes it’s more expensive than a certain other fast food restaurant, but it’s got the goods for a quick fix fast food style. The double cheeseburger was incredible and so was the iced tea (goji berry). A must visit for any vegans wanting takeaway in Sydney!
