I never thought I would find a vegan egg sandwich that really tastes like the real egg mayo. I was wrong as this vegan egg sandwich did just that. Their Strawberry Sponge cake was honestly one of the best vegan cakes I've ever tasted! So airy and light with fresh Strawberry! The coffee was really nice, had a nutty flavor, and everything we ordered was very nice.
Great to see vegan cafés in Osaka, Japan! The gimbap is simple and delicious while the strawberry cake is sweet enough to make one happy but not enough for guilt. They should incorporate plant-based protein into their dishes such as tofu, chickpeas, and seitan as the current dishes seem to be lacking in protein for a more complete meal! Otherwise, do visit this cosy cute place if you are in the area!
Great food, great service and the server we had spoke some English. Very welcoming and even for vegan tasted great. Egg sandwich was even more pungent than a real egg and that’s not a bad thing for being vegan!
Sought this out to try vegan egg sando and fruit sandos and it did not disappoint. Friendly, welcoming vibe and very tasty food. Really great coffee as well. Bought some lovely croissants to takeaway for breakfast the next day too and they were wonderful.
This restaurant was pretty good but the menu is pretty limited. Plus, it was quite out of the way and we had to walk a lot to get to this place from the train station. The location is not ideal. The cauliflower was a little sweet but the curry was relished… The only advantage was that it’s a mile from Osaka Castle so we were anyway headed that direction. The Bimbap was fresh and flavorful… overall dinging one point off for the limited menu.
