Service and food was fantastic. I had the lunch course and each tofu dish was different and excellent. The lady serving was very lovely and she made the experience even better. The set is ¥3800 but it was worth it for me. English menu is available, which sometimes makes me think it's a tourist trap but the food tasted very authentic and like nothing I've had in other parts of Japan.

My wife and I were very excited to try a variety of tofu dishes after being exhausted from all the beef and pork we’ve had the majority of our vacation. Upon entry, we were greeted politely and taken to two seats at the bar where we got to witness the preparation of our dishes. We each tried the set lunch specialties which consisted of 9-12 different todo variations, as well as chicken and fish. Each dish was very delicious and plated beautifully. During our meal, we had a conversation with our waiter Ryosei ! He was very polite and provided excellent service. If you’re looking for an excellent dining experience I highly recommend coming here. Thank you!

We were very grateful to the boss who allowed us to dine in that night, even though we didn’t have a reservation. We had walked and cycled over 2 km searching for tofu before heading back to Osaka the next day, feeling tired and hungry. Fortunately, the boss noticed us and welcomed us in. The staff who served us were also very kind and friendly. This was my best dining experience in Kyoto. We went home very happy and will definitely recommend this place!
