I was introducing my Chinese friends to the city last month. As we walked by the restaurant, we noticed tables and chairs set up outside, creating a breezy and open atmosphere that let me pick this place. Madam Tran was spotless and well-organized, offering a wide variety of dishes, including Chinese options. We followed their recommendations when ordering, and the food was absolutely delicious. The garlic stir-fried water spinach was aromatic and perfectly cooked, with the vegetables retaining just the right texture. The spring rolls were golden and crispy outside, yet tender and juicy inside, paired with a tasty chili sauce. The presentation of the dishes was appetizing, and the staff checked in with us enthusiastically during the meal. I’d definitely return to this spot and recommend it—9/10!

Had such a lovely lunch at Madam Tran Restaurant today. I ordered the spring rolls with grilled pork and was blown away. Everything was fresh and beautifully arranged — rice noodles, crispy veggies, herbs, pineapple, and tender, flavorful meat. You wrap it all up yourself in rice paper and dip it into this sweet-savory sauce. So fun and honestly delicious. It’s the kind of meal that feels light but still really satisfying. Plus, it was such a great way to experience a bit of Vietnamese culture through food. The vibe of the restaurant was cozy, and the staff were super kind and helpful. Definitely a spot I’d recommend if you’re visiting Hanoi and want to try something local and tasty.

I saw them when I was walking around the streets of Hanoi, I liked the tables outside their restaurant, clean and tidy, the atmosphere in the restaurant was very good, the food came out quite quickly, they spoke English quite well so I had no problem. We ordered fried rice, chicken rice with sauce, stir-fried pho, the dishes were all hot and filling, they also had side dishes, drinks and desserts which were very good. But because the main dish was too filling, we didn't order any more.

It was great getting to know them, we had a nice and relaxing meal here, the atmosphere in the restaurant is great. The owner speaks very good English, she recommended dishes to us, which was really helpful. I love their grilled chicken, the chicken is tender and moist inside, cooked to perfection, the chicken is well marinated and fatty, also goes great with hot rice. The black pepper shrimp is fragrant and fresh, the beef is also delicious, we hardly wasted any food, the beer is cold and great. We will introduce friends and come back here soon to try other dishes

Our memorable and enjoyable dining experience. We saw them on the map and came here, when we arrived, the owner of the restaurant welcomed us, she was very enthusiastic. During the meal, she always asked and introduced places to visit and have fun for us. Their food is delicious and eye-catching, seasoned very well, we really like the atmosphere here
