We tried the Rib Eye Steak and the Grilled Chicken Burger, both of which were incredibly tasty. The dishes were freshly made, which meant we waited about 20 minutes for our food, but it was well worth it. The freshness and quality of the food more than made up for the wait. Parking is available for one car directly at the venue, but you can also park at the nearby Cargills parking area and walk over. The ambiance is peaceful, making it an excellent spot to enjoy a meal or even spend some time unwinding. While the food and service were exceptional, we feel they could enhance their menu by introducing a mixed platter option and adding hot beverages to complement the cozy café-like atmosphere. The staff were very welcoming and added to the overall pleasant experience. If you're in Lewella, Kandy, and looking for a quality dining spot, Licensed to Grill by DI's is a must-visit!

Had our NYE dinner here. The burger was really good and the service warm and friendly. The staff also helped us to book a tuktuk afterwards! Highly recommend if you’re craving some burgers when in Kandy.

Excellent little find, we sat outside and it was a lovely setting and the burgers were so tasty, large patty’s and fresh ingredients. Family run place that gives back to the community through charity, would highly recommend.

Great experience at Licensed to Grill by DI’s Cafe. The beef burger was really tasty, and the Nelly Frizz was super refreshing. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. Prices were reasonable—not too high or too low. There’s no dedicated parking, but we managed to park at Cargills Food City nearby. Definitely recommend this spot for a good meal in Lewella!
