135 A9, Kandy 20000, Sri Lanka
One of the best options for vegetarians visiting the central part of Sri Lanka. The place has South Indian breakfast and the taste is also good. The place is mostly crowded and is on a busy street. Place also good clean and staff also very friendly. Highly recommend for foodie lovers…
The Spices and the flavors... Everything is vegetarian here. We ordered a Kara Dora I think it's 650 LKR and had amazing flavors init. It had cheese, Onion, minchi leaves.... We also ordered vege biriyani which was a sunday special dish. It's only 400 LKR and had an amazing portion and tasted amazing. Service was quick and friendly too. Recommend for a cheap tasteful meal... 100% worth it
Balaji Restaurant at the Dialog Outlet in Kandy offers a decent vegetarian dining experience. • Taste: The food quality is average, with flavors that are neither too strong nor too bland. It’s a good option for a quick meal but may not be the best choice for those seeking an authentic and rich taste. • Cleanliness: The cleanliness is moderate. While the restaurant maintains a reasonable level of hygiene, there is room for improvement in terms of overall upkeep. • Ambience: The restaurant does not have air conditioning, which can make the dining experience uncomfortable, especially in warm weather. Overall, Balaji Restaurant is a decent spot for a simple vegetarian meal, but it may not be the most comfortable or top-tier choice in Kandy.
Only the real authentic stuff. Local prices, service is good, and the food is what the local eat. Not westernised, no fancy marketing, just good food. Be prepared to eat a curry with your hands.
