392 Little Collins St, Melbourne VIC 3000, Australia
Visited this place with family during our Melbourne trip. Staffs are very friendly and welcoming. Ambience of the restaurant is great but food quality needs to be improved. Could not experience the authentic Nepali taste in the momo as the filling was blend. We tried range of foods and enjoyed. I would have rated 4/5 for food but is rating 5 beviate of warm hospitality of the staff. The lady in the front was so humble and was doing her best to assist all the guests although she was alone. Seems was a bit quiet and understaffed, can understand from the owners side too with the inflation and increase in costs. The lady in the front and 2 staffs back in the kitchen are the main reasons for me to rate 5/5 as they managed to serve us although we were 10 guests and we didn’t make any pre booking also arrived the restaurant 30 minutes prior to closing time. Hatts off team for the warm hospitality, recommended plz try to add authentic Nepalese taste in the momo. Will definitely visit again during next Melbourne trip because of the warm hospitality we experienced ??
It’s back! Delicious food and warm service is back — perfect lunch or dinner option if you’re in the CBD. The momos do not disappoint. So glad to see Lakhey pop up again!
