The ramen here is amazing for both non-vegans and vegans alike. You can choose between pork or chicken ramen for non-veg options, they have two different vegan ramen choices, and you can also get gluten-free noodles. The broth is rich, savoury, and the ingredients taste fresh for both the non-veg and vegan. The noodles, which are egg-free for all ramen options, are the right amount of al dente and chewiness. The meat was tender for the non-veg option. They serve a special tea (free) for every guest. The staff will also ask if you have any allergies — and for tourists, they have staff that speak English and an English menu. The queue moves really fast, you have to go in and get a queue number. Highly recommended if you’re in the area!

Absolutely lip smacking delicious vegan ramen. There are two veg/vegan ramen: zesty and bean. We tried the zesty one and loved it. The vegan dumpling soup was okay. The portion size is generous. The pricing is on the expensive side but for the quality of ingredients and taste, well worth it. During the busy hours there is a lot of waiting.

Place was packed with foreigners. Lines are expected but waiting time isn’t very long. The menu is all in English. We ordered the spicy pork ramen and the normal pork ramen. Overall the food was average. The broth is tasty but it’s a thicker consistency. Staff are super friendly and service is quick. Would recommend if you’re a foreigner if you’re not sure how to go about Ramen.

Very popular but luckily we didnt go too late so got a ticket and walked around for 20 minutes, came back and were seated. Wow! Great to have delicious vegetarian options - a highlight of Kyoto! I want many bowls of the side option of dumpling soup - do not miss this!!! Zesty ramen also good but I still have the dumpling soup in my mind.

Great ramen place, although it's too popular for its own good ? The queue can get crazy long but if you come earlier than the dinner lunch you should have no problems. Staff was friendly, and the food was tasty (although i kinda ruined it by putting too much of the mystery condiments they offer, that's on me). They source local materials, which is great. Would recommend.
