Lovely food, reasonably price in a good location. Cocktails were delicious range from $12-$16. Staff very friendly and made a nice atmosphere.

This was a great place to go for authentic Thai cuisine. This Thai Res curry is delicious and I look forward to trying out the special dishes next time. Great service and helpful staff.

We had dinner with our son and daughter as our daughter was graduating. A wonderful surprise was that the staff created a lovely artistic desert depicting our daughter. The sincerity and friendliness of the staff made this a special dining experience. The meal was awesome. Thank you very much.

6/6/25 - Lunch at Kum Pun Thai Restaurant in Christchurch was a nice experience. I ordered the green curry chicken with medium spiciness. The curry was creamy and full of flavour, with tender chicken and fresh vegetables. The spice level was just right—not too hot, but with a good kick. I also had two glasses of cold Tiger beer, which went well with the meal. The staff were friendly and the food came quickly. The restaurant was clean and comfortable. Overall, it was a tasty and satisfying lunch. I would be happy to come back again.

Delicious yummy food full of flavour, lovely polite helpful staff & quiet chill atmosphere. We had the Green curry salmon that comes with jasmine sticky rice & the Massaman lamb shank. Both were well prepared & the portion sizes generous. A good range of alcoholic (we had white wine - full of body & complimented our meals very well) & non alcoholic drinks to choose from with table water provided as a matter of course. Considering the central location the prices are extremely reasonable. Would definitely recommend Kum Pun Thai & we are looking forward to coming back again.
