Tasted their Kazo Polo and Kazo Cheese Tart and find them pretty good! The cheese tart was filled with flavour, a must-try for all cheese lovers~ the Polo bun was not bad but I would like it more if the croissant-like skin were more crispy and have more flavoring, as it currently taste like a normal cream puff that is bigger in size. Overall, I would patronize again to try out other food options!
I had the opportunity to patronise this Taiwanese bakery upon their introduction of their halal signage. I seized the chance to savor their cream puffs. These delectable treats boast a delightful creaminess and feather-light texture, creating a truly satisfying mouthful experience for any sweet enthusiast. What sets their Cream Puffs apart is the magical aspect of their filling. Each puff is filled only upon your order, ensuring freshness and flavor. I had the pleasure of trying all their flavors - the presumed original Hokkaido, Chocolate, and the pleasantly surprising Matcha. While my expectations were modest for the Matcha, it pleasantly surprised me with a balanced taste that wasn't overpowering. The Chocolate and Hokkaido is as delicious. I will try their other delicacies soon. They have plenty of outlets throughout SG. A delectable snack or dessert bakery that offers a plethora of flavorful choices, and the fact that it is halal is a definite plus.
First time buying after recommendation from a friend. Bought the signature Hokkaido cream puff. Not cheap. The outer layer is crispy, the inside cream is smooth but very liquid. It will flow out once u bite it. I like it but not my wife. She prefers custard feel. Try it yourself to rate it.
This is my second time trying this pretty taro tart $4. My first experience at another outlet was disappointing, as I may have gotten a stale piece then. This one, however, is so much better. The airy cream tasted fresh and has a nice sweet fragrance, and the tart base was buttery. However, the coconut did overpower the yam, and I found the entire tart a little too sweet.
