Gaya Gandhi Lodge is the best vegetarian place to visit in Wellawatte town. If you're a vegetarian, you must visit and check out the menu. The food is tasty and fresh, with authentic Indian flavours. We ordered ghee dosa, ulundhu vade, and set idly. The dosa was crispy, the idlies were soft, and the sambar and chutney were freshly made. The prices are also reasonable, and the staff is very friendly. It's a must-visit vegetarian spot in town!

Great place great service. The chutneys so tasty fresh and the bhajis and vadais amazing. Definitely come here if you want to eat some good tamil food before. Local prices :)
