I had the pleasure of dining at Indian Ocean Pavilion, and it was truly an exceptional experience from start to finish. The food was outstanding—each dish was beautifully presented, perfectly seasoned, and bursting with flavor. You can really tell the chef puts heart and soul into every plate. The creativity and attention to detail in the menu were impressive, and everything we tried exceeded expectations. A special appreciation goes out to the Chef Don Philip for delivering such a memorable culinary experience. It’s rare to find a place where quality, flavor, and presentation all come together so seamlessly. Specially for the service provided my preparing special meals for the kids/ In addition to the amazing food, the service was equally commendable. The staff were warm, attentive, and genuinely cared about our experience. They were knowledgeable about the menu and offered great recommendations without being intrusive. It's that perfect balance of professionalism and friendliness that makes you feel truly welcomed and valued as a guest. Overall, it was a fantastic evening and one I’d gladly repeat. Highly recommended for anyone who appreciates great food, top-notch service, and a welcoming atmosphere. Can’t wait to return!

Hands down, one of the best buffet experiences in Colombo! From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by the staff. The ambience is elegant and relaxing, with stunning views of the Indian Ocean — the perfect setting for any special meal. The buffet was truly world-class. There were multiple live stations and a wide variety of cuisines — Indian, Sri Lankan, Japanese, Thai, Italian, and Western. Every dish was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The Indian section stood out the most — especially the cheese naan, which the chef happily prepared upon request. It was delicious! Overall, this is not just a buffet — it's a complete experience. Great for family lunches, romantic dinners, or just treating yourself to amazing food. Definitely worth the price. Make sure to book in advance! ✅ Highly recommended!

Under the gentle glow of smart‑casual elegance at ITC Ratnadipa’s Indian Ocean Pavilion, the dinner buffet is a symphony of flavours and refinement. The expansive spread spans Indian, Sri Lankan, Chinese, Western and seafood cuisines, from succulent Malabar prawn curry and Goan fish curry to live‑cooked noodles and sushi‑style bites . Guests praise the dessert lineup—mango kulfi, coconut payasam—and attentive staff like Rimzan, Isuru and Nethmi, who elevate the experience with warm service . Panoramic ocean views and elegant interiors add a serene backdrop. While a few reviewers suggest expanding variety, most agree the quality, ambiance and hospitality justify the premium. A refined and memorable Colombo feast.

I visited this place with my friends on September 2024 for my farewell celebration. Since it had opened recently we decided to go there. The buffet was mostly Indian food, but there were also some other options, though not as many. Buffet was not up to what we had expected actually. But the view and ambiance were absolutely stunning. We had an amazing time. I recommend checking it out at least once!
