1/4-14 Esplanade, Surfers Paradise QLD 4217, Australia
Good food but I don’t judge that it’s worth the price. We had the pork ribs, slow cooked lamb, steamed green vegetables and baked potatoes. The ribs, slow cooked lamb and baked potatoes were awesome. The service was superb. The atmosphere and decor was really great too. However, it was still an odd vibe because it had a mix of casualness and upscale-ness. I reckon they should just go all in on the casualness of the restaurant. They’re overpriced however. The food was good but not at A$60/person good. That price is getting into fancy and gourmet food territory, which they’re not. They’re a “fancy” casual restaurant. I’d price them at A$50/person good.
I’ve never been to a restaurant and given them a 5 star review before but I couldn’t fault Hurricane’s Grill & Bar! The food came out scorching hot and prepared fresh! It tasted delicious, I had the king prawns with fries on the side and my partner had their wagyu burger, the service was amazing and the atmosphere was great, I would definitely recommend this restaurant again! We wanted to come back again before we left the Gold Coast on our holiday unfortunately we couldn’t due to cyclone Alfred! However this place has left a lasting impression on us!
Their view and the foods are amazing. However, the service is a bit disappointing for the price. Still recommended if you want to dine in peacefully at Surfers Paradise area.
Service, atmosphere and food presentation were without a doubt great as always. The food itself however is really nothing to write home about. It’s ok but for the inflated prices, there are better options available elsewhere. For comparison, the portion sizes, quality and variety is much like TGIF or other steakhouses, just with a significantly higher price tag attached. Overall a good experiment
