4 Esplanade, Surfers Paradise QLD 4217, Australia
Late night snack at hungry jacks after a long flight and unpacking go for a walk from the hotel into surfers paradise. Beautiful area ❤️
Had the best New Years Eve at Soul Peppers on the Board walk. Listened to a great band, & the fireworks although off just the one barge were loved by the kids at the 9pm show. Can be super busy on weekends & school holidays & do yourself a favour and visit the Markets when they're on every Friday & Sat nights.
It’s a tiny mall with some clothing stores and various beachfront restaurants both upstairs and downstairs, and my top choice is Brazilian Flame Bar & Grill and Hog’s Breath Cafe. I’ve always come here whenever I’m back to Gold Coast. The design of the boardwalk is quite unique and impressive.
As expected, very busy place however, with a multitude of things to do, there's always somewhere and something else to find and do. Plenty of retail outlets, food vendors and activities for kids of all ages. Then theres obviously the beach right next door to cool off with an ice cream or even a dip. Great place
Sand pumping boat replenishing cyclone sand washed away a few weeks ago. See large boat below the Surfers Paradise arch next to its main beach on the way to spraying the sand onto or near the beach. Black bags full of rocks being strategically placed at specific depths and positions on the beach for best impact for the beach restoration. Best example of council leadership, the use of good equipment eg diggers, to rebuild beach quickly and to a high standard.
