Chanced upon this stall that sells a variety of Malay delicacies. I decided to go for Soto Ayam today as I was deciding between Lontong in another stall and Mee Soto here - this is a perfect marry of both. The broth is rich and yet not salty, with generous amount of shredded chicken and beansprout. I will be back for their Mee Rebus which seems to be their signature dish.

One of the best mee rebus in my list. The serve a list of delicious noodles dishes and are equally sedap. My favourite was the mee rebus for the thick gravy, coupled with a very fragrant potato flavour. Have tried their mee soto before and was my personal second favourite from this stall. How I wished I have enough stomach to savour both in the same visit.

Bought mee Hoon bakso on Foodpanda pro for only $1.90! Where can you find such affordable meals nowadays, kudos to the stall owners! Bakso is a little soft, not as q-ey as expected. Soup is tasty. Overall ok but price is really unbeatable.

Mee Soto (SGD $4.50) @ HJ Waliti HJ Mazuki. . Founded sometime in 1972, this humble stall is known for offering hearty and affordable noodle soup dishes. . Their rendition features probably the lightest turmeric infused chicken soup / broth I've tried, thin and clear, warm with mild meaty sweet spice flavour. . Generous portion of chewy yellow egg noodles, crisp bean sprouts, tender boneless shredded chicken, crisp coriander, and soft fried shallot. Carries grainy sweet meaty savoury herbal spice flavour, lower in salt than most. . Feels wholesome. Contrasted with the addition of a soft begedil / fried potato patty with starchy earthy salty savoury spice sweet flavour.
