Really tasty little spot! Happy to find yummy vegan food. Had the la vie bacon burger with wedges and a cookie. Burger was tasty, but unfortunately the chocolate chip cookie was super dry and bland. Staff were great and service was speedy.
The staff was super friendly and patient to explain everything to us in English. The place is lovely upstair. The ceiling is low and quite tiny made me felt like we were in an old appartment in Paris. But as its very small the ventilation seems not working well. We were given the coin to take drink. But don’t take coke there, it tasted like sugar water without gas. The burger was not really appealing to me. I realized them as vegan meat but it was for a tried I think I wouldn’t come back.
"best gluten free burger ever" sums up our visit at Hanks perfectly. The burgers were delicious and the staff very friendly and helpful. The only reason we didn't stay longer was, that it gets pretty warm when staying with a couple of people. The area itself we enjoyed a lot tho it had a lot of character and we enjoyed the loads of stickers. The only thing I didn't understand was the single use cutlery. For a restaurant that is taking pride in being resourceful to offer plastic knifes was a little odd to me. Nevertheless was our experience 10/10 and a big recommendation especially for gluten free people craving a delicious burger!
I ate here once about 6 years ago and have thought about their burger every now and then. On my last trip to Paris, I made sure to prioritize Hank because I missed their veggie burger. It was just as tasty and delicious as i remembered it. The staff is friendly and the place is comfortable and cozy. This place just hits the spot, love it!
