I ordered spicy yakiniku ramen. In terms of portion, it was generous. One of my friends couldn't finish her meal. Spicy level, moderate but you have options to add chilli oil or spicy powder if you want it to be more spicy. The broth not that thick, just like regular ramen. Waiting time was less than 5 minutes when I went there during lunch time. But it got crowded the moment we had our meal served. Waiting time for the meal approximately 15 minutes. Overall experience was decent. P/s: they open a halal udon restaurant nearby

February 2025: If you’re a first timer in Kyoto & is Googling for a halal place for late lunch, this is one of the few places that will be shown as open (a lot will be on lunch break from 1400-1700/1800 hours). It was our third time visiting a halal ramen shop in Japan and it was the smallest outlet we’ve been to. There were only limited bar-style seats & 3 other tables if I’m not mistaken. So it’s not suitable if you’re a big group or with lots of kids. There’s also no praying area (if you’re expecting any). Was greeted by a very friendly and helpful staff. Was told to get in the waiting list. It was a weekday at 3pm+, we were the first in line & didn’t really have to wait long. There were 4 of us (2 adults & 2 little girls). We only planned to order 2 bowls of ramen as our girls don’t normally eat a lot. But were told that we had to order at least another main meal or 2 other side dishes. It was our first time being asked to do that but we have heard of this rule in Japan before so we understood. Just that for Malaysians, to us the price for most items was considered to be on the high side. We ordered the basic chicken ramen (¥1400) and spicy chicken ramen (¥1900). For side dishes, we chose the gyoza & fried chicken. All was good although I would say it’s a tiny bit overhyped. Total bill was ¥5020. Kudos again on the friendly service !

Came across this place on a whim and very glad we stopped in, to say the least. The waygu udon and spicy chicken udon were both amazingly good. So simple, yet so fresh and delicious. After we ate, the server asked where we were from and gave us two packages of halal ramen as a gift. Interesting setup where you place an order outside on a screen and proceed inside to a table where the server takes your ticket.

Located in a busy area of kyoto. Food was next level amazing. It's a tiny spot. But the service they offered was exceptional. They were so patient and kind and helped us find other halal places.. highly recommend.

Our first day arrived in Kansai, we rushed to Kyoto for the sightseeing. Try our luck to have the famous Halal Ramen here, only short time of period, we managed to slot in. The ramen is superb.. we ordered Spicy Chicken Ramen and Wagyu Beef Ramen. We tried to eat here again on our 3rd day but the queue is almost 45 minutes, so no luck this time. Definitely will come again for the delicious food.
