This is one of my favorite restaurants. The food is delicious, the decor reminds me of the islands and the servers are very friendly. On some days the owner/head chef comes out and greats the patrons which makes the dining experience more special because she lights up talking about her family, background and how it influences her cooking. This place is a vegan Caribbean paradise with rich flavors and vibrant colors bursting through each dish. My only request is that I need another nut-free dessert option and bake & shark is “a must” for every menu (there were none available this afternoon). Go, enjoy and thank me later.
I'm busting with glee. I've been to HAAM several times over the past couple of months. The service, hospitality, food, vibes are consistently exceptional. Each time I've come, I've tried a different meal. Looking forward to returning with friends as the weather warms up. It's great to see the genius, chef, and owner of this wonderful establishment show out in heart with the meals and environment she's created. I always feel welcomed, honored and leave belly full every visit. The experience is seamless and easy -- From making my reservations to the waitresses checking in to the food that is prepared with thought and love. As I've expressed to them personally, keep doing what you're doing. HAAM, this Brooklyn staple will last far beyond its years Run, don't walk to support this great eatery. Stay a while, enjoy the music (which makes me feel like I'm home in the Caribbean, smile, laugh with fellow guests and take a salad bowl home!! Kudos to the owner and this empire she's built!!!
HAAM is a vegan delicacy. I have been here three times, and this restaurant nails it every single time. The first dish I had from this place was the steak. FANTASTIC! I had it on my first two visits. I returned today and I noticed the menu changed. Today I tried the Mangú con los 3 golpes, and it was also delicious. The salami had a similar taste to how I remember salami tasting. The tofu cheese was a good pair with the mangú. We had the curry chicken wontons as an appetizer and they were also a hit. I just can’t get over this restaurant. Bravo to the team of people behind HAAM’s success! THANK YOU from your customers!!! Please stay forever ❤️❤️❤️
I highly recommend this little cozy vegan plant base spot for all. The food was fabulous for plant base and I love their Hibiscus Cocktail drink, which is what I had a few of and loved it. My husband is Vegan and reason why we came to this spot for the first time and all I left to say, we would return for more eats, drinks and treats. Every one of the workers in there is friendly and always asking if you okay and all is well, love it. Coming back soon Haam !
Outstanding! Simply stated, OUTSTANDING! ?? ?? ?? The flavors! The presentations!! The attention to detail!!! ? I'm glad I sampled the menu with the Empanadas, Rice Triangle, Wonton, Mushroom Cup, and Mac N Cheese. The Rasta Pasta with Steak Chunks Amazing! The Oyster Mushroom Scallops, unreal how good and real, they tasted! Wow! Closed with the Cashew Cheesecake!!!
