This place is not just for vegetarians and vegans. We ordered the Hamburg and the Chicken Curry and found the meals excellent overall, where the veggies were equally the stars of the dishes. Out of all the meals on our visit to Japan, this one has left the body feeling the best and often at a fraction of the price. Ended up purchasing owner and chef’s Honjos book and it reflects the good soul he puts into his food. Thank you for offering your food to us, and for making us feel welcome. Hope to come back in the future.

Absolutely Delicious Vegan Food Near Kinkaku-ji! After visiting Kinkaku-ji, we came across this gem just around the corner—and I’m so glad we did! I had the vegetable taco rice with a smoothie, and both were incredibly fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Easily the best vegan food I’ve ever had! The service was just as impressive as the food. The woman who served us was so kind and welcoming—it really added to the warm, peaceful atmosphere of the place. Whether you’re vegan or just looking for a healthy, satisfying meal after sightseeing, I can’t recommend this spot enough.

Fantastic food. Generous portion and great flavours. The vegan curry was healthy, well balanced and exceptional. Every part of the meal was delicious - a light refreshing soup, perfectly spiced curry with grilled vegetables, crunchy salad and tasty pickle. Highly recommend.

Wonderful food. The mixed curry was incredible. All side dishes were so yummy and the whole experience stood out to us. The hamburger and vegan curry were also wonderful. It was clear the curry had been cooked and marinated for hours which gave it a wonderful depth. I wish this restaurant was local and I would definitely come back to visit again when I am in Japan.

I really enjoyed my visit to this restaurant. The menu had a great mix of both meat and vegetarian dishes, which made it easy for everyone in our group to find something they liked. The food was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming, and the staff were friendly and attentive. A great place for a casual yet quality meal.
