232 Main St, Osborne Park WA 6017, Australia
Nice and cosy little bar, plenty of free parking. Staff are excellent and food are pretty decent. My 5 yrs old hate onion rings, but at Chich he devoured all and wanting more. Have to admit it was large individual size onion rings, only downfall was pricing. Nice little burger that came with perfectly cooked chip
I had been for a beach swim one Friday after work and was craving a burger and chips. So, I swung by Chich on my way home. Located on Main Street, Osborne Park, Chich is modern, funky and has a really cool atmosphere. They even have a scooter mounted on a shelf on the wall! Throw in some cool light fittings, a concrete floor and a raked ceiling and you’ve really got something. They play cool tunes too. Downstairs and just outside the entrance is a nice courtyard with a well-kept garden, which makes for a relaxed vibe. As you make your way in, you are greeted by a Pearl Jam poster. As someone who witnessed the birth of grunge - yes, I was there ? - I think this is a great addition. From there you head up the steps to the restaurant and bar. The venue is well decked out and even includes an old school TV made out of wood - the type with a dial to change the channel! So, anyone who appreciates nostalgia will be right at home at Chich. Inside, there are plenty of seating options, with some high tables and several booths. Otherwise, you can sit on the balcony overlooking Main Street. The vibe outside is really cool and it’s a great spot to watch the sunset. The menu is great, with lots of food to choose from. There are several beef burgers and a few chicken burgers to choose from. You can also add some extras to your burger. This includes jalapenos, beetroot, bacon and halloumi. These range from $2.50 - $4.50 each, which is good value, especially as some places charge more for extras. Also on the menu is a Balkan beef parmi, which sounds amazing. It comes with cheddar and edam cheese, house ajvar sauce, bacon, feta as well as chips and salad. Yum! Those wanting something simple can go for the fish and chips or a salad. You can add free range chicken to the salads for $8, which is a good option. Then there are sides like sweet potato fries, onion rings and chips. Oh, and there are spiced cauliflower wings too, which sound intriguing. On my visit two weeks ago, I ended up having dinner in the restaurant, as I ran into some friends who invited me to join them. You order at the counter and meals are brought to your table. We were well looked after by caring and fun, friendly staff. We all got the classic cheese beef burger, which came with chips and went down a treat. On my more recent visit, I opted for a takeaway classic cheese beef burger. This comes with beef, pickled gherkins, cheddar, Dijon mustard and tomajo and diced red onion. It’s quite simple and that’s a good thing. The flavours melded together really well, and the cheese was particularly good. To cap it off, the sauce was tangy, and the gherkins provided a contrasting flavour that finished off my burger nicely. My chips were hot and crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside, so had the perfect texture. Prices at Chich are very reasonable too. My burger and chips was $23 - great value compared to some other burger joints out there. Sides range from $13 - $23, while bites and shares will set you back anywhere between $17 and $27. And with cocktails under $20, you really get value for money. As an aside – I took the photos of the burger and chips for this review at my place. Did I mention drinks? Well, suffice it to say, you’ll never be thirsty here. With local beer like single fin, as well as international beers like Heineken and Peroni, you're spoilt for choice. There is also a good selection of local wines, such as Vasse Felix from Margaret River. Then there's cocktails like margaritas and cosmopolitans. To top off your night you can opt for one of their many liqueurs and digestifs, like Cointreau and Limoncello. The dessert options look pretty good too. You can have honey cake, baklava and a couple of other choices. And of course, you can complement these with a coffee or tea of your choice. So, whether it’s for an after-work beer or a full dinner, I highly recommend Chich. It’s got great food and a cool vibe. Put it on your list of places to visit.
I have visited this restaurant several times and have always left happy. It has actually become one of my favorite restaurants. The food is delicious. I have ordered various dishes, and they’ve all been great. My favorite dish is the Chicken Ala Tsar, which is wonderful and comes in a very generous portion, full of flavor. I have also tried the Sarska, made with pleskavica, a beef filled with cheese inside. When bitten into, the cheese filling flows out, creating a flavorful experience. The Mediterranean Chicken Sandwich is also delicious. Everything is very well seasoned. I’ve also tried some desserts, such as honey cake and baklava, and they were all very tasty. I’ve ordered delivery as well, and they maintain the same quality and care. The environment is pleasant, cozy, and well-ventilated, featuring a balcony/terrace with adjustable windows that can be opened or closed depending on the weather, making the ambiance even more welcoming. The staff are always friendly, receptive, and happy, which enhances the experience. Overall, this place is great for couples, families, or meeting up with friends, offering excellent options for everyone. I’ve visited multiple times, and it has always been very good, so I will definitely keep coming back for more meals. Highly recommended!
Great service, the crew were fantastic, the food was top notch. The cakes were also amazing.
The venue has a cosy and inviting feel, it’s quirky and I always feel comfortable there. The balcony in summer is so nice! Everyone is welcoming and very attentive, always checking in and are able to give suggestions. The food is amazing and I keep going back because I can’t get enough. Good serving sizes, everything is fresh and tasty. No photos because the food is gone so quickly, but it always looks yummy! My current favourite dish is the Sarma, and I love the stuffed capsicum they do as a special sometimes. I’ve tried a few different cocktails, and so far, all very tasty.
