I recently visited Chakar Authentic Indian Restaurant in Seoul and was thoroughly impressed. The food is genuinely authentic South Indian cuisine, and the service is exceptional. Having tried other Indian restaurants in South Korea, I can confidently say that none compare to Chakar. It is a must-visit for anyone seeking a true taste of South India. Noor Rehman, originally from West Bengal but now settled in Coimbatore, provided excellent care and hospitality.

The food served here is among the finest I have experienced in Seoul. The impeccable service and unwavering attitude of Mr. Jacob, coupled with the excellent smile from Mr. Mani made their service exceptional. We had a set menu for the group, but some guests wished to order food not included within that menu. Despite this, all I had to do was inquire if they could accommodate an additional item requested by one of my guests, and Mr. Jacob merely responded with a pleasant smile and served us as requested. I have yet to encounter anyone so accommodating, and he never tried to hurry us out after our meal had been consumed. They remained seated for another 15 minutes, relaxed, and they appreciated the food, their service, and the ambience so much that they refused to eat elsewhere and returned two nights in a row. Give it a try, and you will not be disappointed.

Difficult to find Indian food in Seoul, and even more difficult to find South Indian food! We were able to find this one place where Dosa was found! The ambiance is good, the food is excellent, and the service is fantastic!

The food here is easily among the best I’ve had in Seoul. The service was impeccable, with staff going out of their way to ensure my family of 5 had a wonderful time. My mom is also vegetarian and all it took was a simple request, and they graciously accommodated our wishes! ?? We ordered a set menu and other separate items. The food was phenomenal, but what impressed me the most was the attentive service without any rush, something I don't normally encounter when I dine in elsewhere. After our meal, we lingered for an extra 20 minutes, enjoying the atmosphere without feeling any pressure to leave. If you’re after excellent food and exceptional service in Seoul, this place won’t disappoint. I will definitely be back with my family soon! ?

Welcome to South Korea ?? "We absolutely loved the authentic Indian culture vibe at this restaurant! The staff was super friendly, speaking Hindi, English, and South Indian languages. The chef personally greeted us and checked on our food. The atmosphere was cozy, and what impressed us most was their politeness, even near closing time. They waited for us to finish our meal. The food was delicious, especially the South Indian dishes, which were phenomenal! We've visited 4-5 times in 6 months and tried their weekend buffet, which offered a great variety of veg and non-veg options. Highly recommended! All the best, and keep serving us!"❤️
