Great high quality food, so many raw options, plus kind servers and a cute ambiance. Some of my favorite dishes are the green soup, lasagna, & creamy pasta. The desserts are delicious as well.. to die for is the chocolate fudge turned into a sundae and key lime pie ?
Caravan of Dreams is the oldest organic vegan restaurant in Manhattan's East Village! Since 1991, this incredible spot has been more than just a restaurant-it's a hub for health, community, and passion. In this video, I speak with the manager about the restaurant's 33-year journey, its unique mission, and the vision of its founder, Angel. The full video is on Youtube, the link can be found in the link in my bio. Caravan of Dreams isn't your typical vegan eatery. It stands out by offering completely natural, healthy dishes made from scratch-no processed "Frankenstein" foods here! From medicinal mushroom-infused coffees to sugar- and dairy-free desserts that are unbelievably delicious, every menu item is crafted with care and packed with health benefits. Beyond the food, this place fosters a sense of community in the heart of NYC, offering a welcoming environment where customers feel like family. Whether you're a long-time vegan or simply curious, Caravan of Dreams is a must-visit for anyone seeking nourishing food and a welcoming vibe. The food and vibes were genuinely immaculate. The dishes were little art pieces, carefully constructed for a specific experience without you even realizing. It took a little while, but you figure out quickly why. My only gripe is that the server seemed to forget we were here and that people were waiting for them. That and the table was wobbly. Fantastic experience regardless.
Great food. Lovely atmosphere. The brunch deal at 26 dollars before 5pm is superb.
Non-vegan here. You. Must. Go. Truly one of the cutest and most romantic places I've ever been in NYC. I sat on the adorable outside patio (they only have tables for 2 outside) and they have very relaxing low stim *live* music playing in the background. Gorgeous guitar. The inside looked utterly romantic and I can't wait to bring a date here. The food was SO fresh-I had one of the best tasting fresh orange juices of my life here. Plus caffeine-free grain coffee that tasted fab. One of the most unique menus I've ever seen in NYC. Great brunch deal. Waiters were so sweet. I never write reviews, but I had to for this place. It's a hidden gem that I want everyone to try. Truly couldn't recommend it enough.
