Found this place because I am staying nearby for work and needed brunch after a Sunday morning sleep-in. Great spot at the wetlands reserve. Great service, great food. I also liked the coffee, got another to-go for my walk around the wetlands. Thoroughly enjoyed a wander in the sunshine. Great way to spend a few hours on a Sunday. Lots of families, dogs, bikes and some kayaks.

very nice atmosphere and lovely vibe especially when the weather is nice! food was delicious, but why stack the toast like this for my eggs benny ? now one slice is just bread! just confusing hahah. ps i LOVEDDD the iced strawberry match, definitely recommend

Canning River Café is a fantastic, dog-friendly spot overlooking Kent Street Weir park, playground and river. It has a beautiful riverside setting and a welcoming atmosphere. The food is always fresh and delicious, with their sweet potato chips being the best I’ve ever had—crispy, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. The coffee is excellent, and the friendly, attentive staff make every visit enjoyable.

Amazing place to just chill. Even though it is right near heavy traffic and carousel, you wouldn't know it cause there's no noise
