We ate here 2 nights in a row and could have ate here everyday if not for the fact we were only staying at Ella for 2 days. A lovely ambience and none of that raring loud music you get in the main city Centre. Staff was very friendly, extremely polite and you can feel their warmth and sincerity through and through. The lady behind the counter has the sweetest, kindest smile! Food was amazing. Very fresh, hearty portions at a very good value. Plating of the food was also well done. They were also very patient to cater to my low gluten and lactose intolerance meals. And were very kind to swap out my rice for an extra big portion of salad at no extra charge. The devilled chicken was amazing!! I requested for medium heat and less sweet and they delivered! Everything was homemade from scratch down to the potato chips. The soups were served in huge steaming bowls perfect for the chilly night. Both the tomato and prawn soup was chunky and very morish. We love the food here, ambience and more so the wonderful staff. Keep up the good work!

The food is insane. Chicken lumprais and grilled tuna slice were out of this world. Best food we’ve had in Sri Lanka. The fried mushroom with the rice is to die for. Everything was made perfectly and server explained the elements of the dish. Staff is super polite and efficient. Place is beautiful with a great view. Must visit

We were here at around 5:00 p.m. for late lunch. The place was not too busy. The open roof tables had great views. I tried srilankan cuisine with yellow rice and vegetables. We also tried the vegetable sandwich. both the dishes. The prices are expensive but the food tasted great. The view from the rooftop is also great and was peaceful. The service was good.

What a real, genuine gem. We stopped by hesitant but tempted by the positive reviews, went inside and had one of the best meals in Sri Lanka for the entire of our holidays. The ordered food came out quite fast so the waiting time was short. The food itself was beautifully served in what I believe was a banana leaf. The taste was amazing and well balanced with the fine spice touch. The waiters were very polite and helpful in providing details on what type of curry, we’re having on our plates. Great food, great service and reasonable prices. Come by and have a bite for lunch or dinner. It was a real feast we cherished and would recommend this place to anyone visiting Ella. Bohoma isthuti for incredible dinner!

Exceptional dining experience! The food was incredibly tasty, with each dish expertly prepared and presented. The service was attentive and friendly. Every bite was a delight, and the presentation was almost too pretty to eat. Highly recommend this restaurant for a culinary treat that exceeds expectations.
