Delite Theater Building, Asaf Ali Rd, opp. MCD Park, New Delhi, Delhi 110057, India
A deserving 5 star restaurant. I found this restaurant on Google maps while exploring daryaganj. I must say I am pleasantly surprised by the ambience and food. Starting with Ambience, the place had an elegant seating experience that looks really lavish and comfortable, AC made seating comfortable. Coming to food I ordered Mysore Masala dosa and chole bhature. Both of them exceeded my expectations and were delicious. My total food bill for the two things came around 424 for 2 which i feel was quite reasonable. I highly recommend this place if you are looking for a Value for money vegetarian restaurant ?
We were staying at nearby GB Pant hospital for the treatment of my father, so firstly we ordered thali twice once for lunch and other for dinner from this place via zomato as we had very limited good veg options for us, the taste of food was good but the raita with the largest portion in both the thalis was completely stale and it was smelling very bad, we raised the complaint and Zomato asked us to share feedback, we did that. The next day we went to have dinner here and the ambience was sooooo good, the interior of this place gives you vintage, royal and 5 star vibes. We ordered the masala dosa at first & it was very delicious, after that we ordered pav bhaji and I swear it was one of the bestest pav bhaji I've ever had in my life. The taste was very unique and we ordered two more plates of it. ?? The staff was a bit less attentive as we have to call them at least twice. The price was slightly high but it was worth the experience. They provide only mineral water & no option for regular water. Also we complained to the supervisor about the raita in thali and he told us that the feedback will be shared with the senior manager. Nearby metro is Delhi Gate & if you have plenty of time in hand then go and watch a movie in the delite cinema above the restaurant. It'll be a lifetime worthy experience for you. Just the crowd is average in the hall. Rest everything is worth experiencing.
We were staying near GB Pant Hospital for my father’s treatment and ordered thalis twice from this restaurant via Zomato, as it offered limited but good vegetarian options. While the food’s overall taste was commendable, the raita in both thalis was unfortunately stale and smelled unpleasant. ? We reported the issue to Zomato, and feedback was shared with the restaurant. The next day, we decided to dine in, and the experience was a pleasant surprise. ✨ The ambience is exquisite, offering a vintage and royal charm that feels akin to a 5-star setting. ? The interiors are well-designed, creating a luxurious dining atmosphere. For dinner, we started with the masala dosa, which was absolutely delicious. ? Next, we tried the pav bhaji, and it was, without a doubt, one of the best we’ve ever had. The unique flavor and perfect balance of spices compelled us to order two more plates! ?? However, the service could be improved. The staff was a bit inattentive, requiring us to call them multiple times to place orders or ask for assistance. ? Additionally, the restaurant only serves mineral water, with no option for regular water, which might not suit everyone’s preference. Although the prices are slightly on the higher side, the quality and taste of the food, coupled with the ambience, make it a worthwhile experience. ? We also addressed the raita issue with the supervisor during our visit, who assured us that the feedback would be escalated to the senior management. For those visiting, the restaurant is conveniently located near Delhi Gate metro station. ? If you have time to spare, consider watching a movie at Delite Cinema, located above the restaurant. ? The theatre offers a decent experience with average crowds but adds a touch of nostalgia to your outing. Overall, this restaurant is an excellent choice for food lovers seeking a blend of great taste and luxury, though a little attention to service and quality consistency would elevate the experience further. ?️
