1st time to this vegetarian steamboat restaurant. Travel from KSL all the way to here & was told the food is nice. The atmosphere looks good. The food still can do. But the service very bad. Wait for at least 10mins. Only 2 x Myanmar waiter & waitress available cannot speak Chinese, English or Malay. Was told by the Myanmar waitress said "shopping" referring to the one who can speak Chinese. The Myanmar waitress has a bad face expression throughout. Never smile. At last the one can speak, came back with a bag of goodies. The food on the desk, probably cold appertisers are very hard. It must have been left there since lunch till 4 pm w/o any replenish. Overall, the buffet still resonable.
Love the array of food they provide. Worth it for the price. They would charge 3RM for every 100g to prevent wastage of food, so it's a good practice to take the amount you can eat (: the photos provided did not fully include other food like rice, soup and gravy-based food (e.g. mala, braised meat, curry mutton)
Indulge in a diverse culinary experience, ranging from flavorful hot pot to exquisite French cuisine, complete with a satisfying full-course option that guarantees a contented palate ? Chinese pop songs and the decorations create an immaculate atmosphere. Coupled with the hospitable and friendly customer service, this place is nothing short of ?
Suggest to come with an empty stomach. Wide range of starter / appetiser, sauces, frozen vegetarian meats, and fresh vegetables. The starter mostly is fried foods. Fried mantou go with curry mutton is fantasy. Others like fried beancurd 五香 are a bit oily and cold, hard to chew it. If able to keep the foods warm will be better. Braised toufu is oily, braised broth is not our liking. They have 9 soup base options, Leicha, Tomato, Clear Soup, Old cucumber, Waterchesnut (Xiyang Cai), Bakkuteh, Tomyum, Mala and Curry. The most interesting is leicha soupbase, but we don't dare to try it. We have chosen tomato and bakkuteh. Tomato is good and thick, a combination of sour and sweet. Bakkuteh is towards lighter side, not heavy herbal. Overall, we enjoy the air conditioning dining environment and the steamboat. Their vegetables are fresh and replenishing very fast. Not crowded on Saturday 2pm, got plenty of tables. Utensils all are well wrapped and cleaned.
