Spending Ramadan 2020 at home has got many of us cooking more frequently for iftar and sahur. Whether it's local cuisine, easy recipes for the family or even Korean and Japanese cuisine, we're pretty sure this Ramadan has been a culinary adventure for many of you ? But let's face it - some days, you just want to rely on convenience food like instant halal frozen food.

With so many brands offering a wealth of options these days, you'll be spoilt for choice. If you're looking for Malay cuisine, CP's Kampung Fried Rice and Nasi Lemak with Chicken Rendang will suit your fancy. Local halal Indian chain Prata Wala also has ready-to-eat briyani which you can get online, with enticing options like Butter Chicken and Bombay Fish Masala. The brand recently went viral after a post on Facebook stated that it tasted very similar to McNuggets! If you prefer fish nuggets and fillets instead, then Bibik's Choice will be perfect for you. If you feel like having something warm for sahur but don't want to go through the hassle of preparing a full meal, steamed buns are a great idea! One of the more famous brands for pau is KG Food, with yummy fillings like honey chicken, tau sar (red bean) and satay.
