Get ready to dive into rich layers of chocolate cake, buttery choux pastries, fluffy doughnuts and more at Gula Cakery. Situated in Kota Kemuning, this delightful bakery was established in 2015 and may very well be your next go-to spot for a daily dose of sweet treats ?

Founded by Arieni Ritzal, the young entrepreneur started out as a self-taught baker. After working on the art of baking through a series of family events and endless hours of practice in the kitchen, she created Gula Bakery - a home-based bakery that offered both cakes and baking classes.

Still on the journey to perfecting her craft, Arieni then took a 3-month pastry course in Paris and two years later, transformed the home-based business into the well-loved bakery brand that we know and love today!

Find yourself at the wonderland of desserts and feast your eyes on the variety of cakes they have on display ? With over 100 flavours to choose from including Durian Cheesecake, Strawberry Lemon Momofuku Cake and Chocolate Truffle Cake, you’re bound to find something that’ll catch the attention of your eyes and entice your taste buds.

If you’re feeling overwhelmed by their colourful selection of yummy looking cakes, we don’t blame you! For starters, have a taste of one of their best-sellers - the Double Chocolate Nutella Cake. With a single bite of this triple-layered cake generously covered in Nutella chocolate frosting topped with strawberries, you’ve officially found the perfect dessert for your cheat days ?

Treat yourself to another popular dessert by getting the Berry Pavlova. From the delicate crunch of crispy meringue to the marshmallowy inside of the pavlova, this light and airy dessert is a sinful pleasure that keeps people coming back for more.

Looking forward to pastries instead? Then you certainly can’t go wrong with the classic Choux Pastry! As the store’s signature creampuff, indulge in the buttery goodness of crispy craquelin oozing with vanilla bean custard. A box full of these and you’re all set for the week ?

At Gula Cakery, not only do you get to taste their baked goods, you can also unleash your inner baker with their baking classes! Whether you decide to take on doughnuts, macarons, cinnamon rolls or French desserts, this is the perfect opportunity to learn from Arieni who also holds the title of head baker. Also available for children from 3 years old and above, make sure to check out the bakery’s social media pages to find out more about the type and rotations of classes.

As if there aren’t enough reasons to love this charming bakery - the menu provides a range of hearty meals too like aglio olio pasta, beef lasagna and spaghetti meatballs. For more Malaysian flavours, the nasi kerabu, daging dendeng and kuey teow goreng will be right up your alley.

Known as one of the more kid-friendly bakeries in town, dining at Gula Cakery can be a breeze for families as they have a large play area catered to young ones. Equipped with various toys, books and colouring supplies, kids will be kept entertained while parents are free to kick back, relax and have some down time.

Should you decide to stay longer, there is a prayer room available for your convenience as well. Now, doesn’t that sound like the perfect family meal out? ?

Don’t miss out on Gula Cakery’s sister branch, Gula Petite, located in IOI City Mall, Putrajaya. You can also drop by Andra by Gula Cakery, another store named lovingly after Arieni's son, that is situated at Ardence Labs in Setia Alam. Whichever spot you choose to dine at, you're guaranteed to have a flavourful experience that will leave you on cloud nine.

Now that you have another incredible bakery added to your list, all that's left to do is to drop by Gula Cakery and let it bake its way into your heart ❤️
