Looking for a refreshing drink to quench your thirst with besides plain old iced water? Well, then we'd like to bring to your attention one of the most popular drinks in Korea during the summertime - Korean strawberry milk 😊 Commonly found at boutique cafes in Seoul, this drink is made with a simple strawberry puree with chunks of strawberries for texture, some milk and sugar. Nothing artificial is added which sets it apart from the other regular strawberry milks! If this sounds like the perfect drink for you, then go ahead and dive right into this super easy Korean strawberry milk recipe.  Ingredients (serves 2)
  • 10 to 13 fresh strawberries
  • 4 tbsp sugar
  • 1 cup whole milk (you can also coconut milk)
Directions
  1. Wash the strawberries, remove the top part and cut them into small pieces.
  2. In a small bowl, add ⅔ of chopped strawberries and sugar. Crush the strawberries and mix until well combined.
  3. Add the mixture into a pot and bring to a boil at medium-high heat. Let it boil for about 2 to 3 minutes until it becomes thick in texture like a puree, then leave it to cool down.
  4.  Pour the puree into drinking glasses, then add milk and the remaining chopped strawberries.
  5. Serve and enjoy!
